ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip has been providing an exciting and safe venue for New York speed demons under the sanctioning banner of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) since 1960.
Six classes of competition for racers of various skills and income, to compete for cash and trophy prizes, and points towards season championship titles.
Tommy & Joi Ingalls Memorial Race Spotlights Sunday Racing
So we have to continue to push forward with scheduling and be optimistic? Sunday's racing resumes with the Summit Racing E.T. Series featuring the Tommy & Joi Ingalls Memorial Super Pro event. $1,500 to Win and a Wally trophy for the Top Eliminator. Also this week will be the King of the Track run off along with finish the Junior Dragster Wally race. Almost forgot the Pro MX Challenge and the Street Money Challenge. We have special trophies for those classes!!
We are planning a “Run Whatcha bring Test and Tune” for October 10th with a $500 to win gamblers race and American Muscle stick series race!
October 11th is the Wally day make up race, along with The American Muscle stick class, Stock Super Stock class and Anthony Kelly’s heads up class!! We are trying to finish this season strong, but Mother Nature don’t like racing this year apparently. Keep the excitement flowing and thank you all for your support. We can’t do it without you!
Sponsor & Contingency Programs Ramp Up
New to 2026 is scoreboard sponsorships from Bear Service Automotive (Mike Anderson) and Auto Care at Split Rock (Bill BeDell). Mike and Bill's commitment aren't limited to sign sponsorships alone. They are both providing support to numerous ESTA events to help draw in new racers to the ESTA facility. Phil Burkart of Burkart Automotive in Yorkville, NY is stepping up by establishing a contingency program for the Pro and Super Pro divisions. Contingency awards to the finalists of each of these classes with help increase the rewards for racers on a weekly basis. Additional contingency sponsorships are being finalized before the new season launches. Max's Print Shop of Marcy, NY is building a contingency program for racers as well as providing merchandising for the track to have on sale.
