ESTA Safety Park Dragstrip has been providing an exciting and safe venue for New York speed demons under the sanctioning banner of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) since 1960.
Eight classes of competition for racers of various skills and income, to compete for cash and trophy prizes, and points towards season championship titles.
2025 Awards Banquet Date Set
Friday, December 5th is the date set for the 2025 ESTA Awards banquet. It will be hosted at The Spinning Wheel Restaurant, 7384 Thompson Rd., North Syracuse. Banquet will be held 7pm to 10pm. $35 per person. As requested, we will be re-introducing special awards for this years banquet! We will be having Mr. (or Mrs.) Bracket Racer, Most Improved, Rookie of the Year, Hard Luck, and Best Appearing and Best Engineered. Racers in points are the ONLY racers that can be nominated for these awards. Rolfe's 2-Straight Super Wins Snares Title
Joey Rolfe was 4 points out of first place in Super Pro behind Tim Roberts heading into Sunday's final points race. Joey and Tim squared off in round 1 with Joey taking the win when his .003 to .047 reaction advantage pushed Tim into a -.002-under breakout pass. Joey still had to win the class to claim the title and he did just that! What great racing action from two top-tier drivers! Kevin Wuest locked in another Pro MX title outlasting 2024 Champion Kevin Sutliffe by a single point!
