Talmadge, Rioscolon, Boston & English Score Pro Wins

June 9 - Today we were finally able to get our 2013 Summit E.T.Series underway and we had a perfect sunny day. We were forced to run this race 1/8 mile due to the fact that the end of the track and return road were flooded from the week's worth of rain that we endured, but noone seemed to mind we were just glad to be racing again. The new 330' concrete starting line provided plenty of hook and the racing action was great.

Super Pro
In Super Pro it was Mark Talmadge in his trusty '75 Vega scoring the win defeating Josh Speck who was driving his very fast '94 Beretta. Mark had a .514 to .528 reaction time advantage and that was the difference as both racers ran .02 off their respective dial in's. Mark ran a 6.157 at 111.45 mph on his 6.13 dial and Josh ran a 4.824 at 138.99 mph on his 4.80 dial in for the runner up spot. Howie Smith in his new dragster lost to Josh in the semi's and Joe LaRose in his new dragster lost to Mark in the semi's.
