When you're "in the zone" it doesn't matter which chariot you pilot. Zach Beasaw is in that zone as illustrated on Sunday when drove his Steve Doss-loaned, '93 Mustang to his third-straight, final round victory. Zach lined up next to John Cooper and nailed the tree with a perfect .000 reaction time. John was equally impressive on the tree with a .009 reaction, but it wasn't enough to catch Zach at top end. Zach posted a 6.528 at 104.04 mph on his 6.52 dial-in to score the win by a thin .005 m.o.v. John dialed in at a 4.81 and ran a better 4.814 at 140.20 mph, but it wasn't to be and had to settle for the runner-up finish.

In the semifinals, Anthony Zegarelli and Jack Vault Jr. had great rounds, but fell one round short of a crack at the eliminator win.

Kevin Sutliffe is closing in on locking up the Pro MX championship and he furthered that goal by scoring the Pro MX win over John Kuhfta. Kevin held a .073 to .092 reaction time advantage over John and sped to a winning, 5.535 at 117.96 mph pass on his 5.52 dial-in. John dialed his Polaris Indy in at a 6.84, but was only able to muster a 6.956 at 96.89 mph and had to settle for the runner-up finish.

In semifinal action, Brandon McCombie fell to John, while Kevin drew the bye run into the finals.

Howard Roberts won both ends of the track, but it was close race against John Goldman with the margin of victory being a tight .014. John launched first with his 9.65 dial-in and cut a .041 reaction, but Howard's .030 light was enough to catch John's '83 Mercury at the line and scored the win with a 7.544 at 78.69 mph on his 7.49 dial-in. John was only .003 behind Howard's package, but his 9.707 at 72.44 mph wasn't enough to score the win light.

Frank Ware Jr.'s red light against John in the semis ended his day, just 1 round after a .009 reaction in the quarter-finals ended Steve English's run. Howard had the solo run into the finals.

Chris Corlyon gave up a .010 reaction time advantage to John Stern in the Modified final, .088 to .078, but his .015-over, 6.235 at 109.41 mph pass on his 6.22 dial netted him the win and the white timeslip. John dialed his '88 Ford in at a 7.60 and posted a 7.678 at 83.77 mph run for the runner-up honors.

In the semis, Chris' reaction time advantage over Dave Miller was just enough to push Dave into a .008-breakout pass and advance into the final against John who drew the bye-run.

Street Trophy

Pat Minogue reversed the results of the August 4th final loss to Tim Patterson and score the Street Trophy win on Sunday. Both drivers cut identical .034 reaction times, but Pat's .055-over, 9.255 at 77.94 mph was enough to score a comfortable, .051 m.o.v. win. Tim dialed his 2018 Mustang in at an 8.38, but was only able to post a 8.486 at 83.44 mph run and had to settle for the runner-up finish.

Kim Rossiter fell to Pat in the semis, while Tim had the solo run.

Bike/Sled Trophy

It was a heads-up start between Brandon McCombie and Kevin Wuest with both racers dialing in at 5.93, but it ended at the line with Kevin's -.048 red light and Brandon getting a free shot down the track. Brandon pulled out the stops and blasted his 5.93 dial with a 5.881 at 121.56 mph aboard his '08 Gixxer. Kevin ran his Polaris XCR to a -.005-under, 5.925 at 113.45 mph and settled for the runner-up finish.

In semifinal action, Brandon won a close race over Bob Salerno and his turbo-charged Arctic Cat, while Kevin had a solo shot to advance to the finals.

Austin dialed in the Jokers Wild junior in at a 7.93 and posted an 8.013 at 74.53 mph for the win.
