Jeremy Hutton - June 22 Pro MX Winner

June 22 - It was the Pro MX class running for the top payouts today in their Pro MX Showdown event. Doss Wheels Firebird to Affordable Carpet Street Shootout Win

Steve Doss Wins Affordable Carpet Street Shootout

June 15 - When big money purses are up for grabs Steve Doss is one of many racers who will field an entry for a crack at a big payout. Steve did just that when his .556 to .693 reaction time advantage over Jim Smith forced Jim into a breakout run thus scoring the Affordable Carpet Street Shootout $1,000 first place prize. Jim got the headstart in his '89 Sonoma when he dialed in at a 12.83, but ran too quick with a 12.804 at 106.13 mph for the runner-up effort. Steve dialed his '99 Firbird in a an 11.50 and backed it off to an 11.609 at 105.92 mph when he caught Jim at the top end. Jordan Reader continued his late round appearances and finished with the strong semifinal finish.

Thank you to Mike Halsey of Affordable Carpet for sponsoring this event and to BJ BeDell, Anthony Zangari and NYS Natural Inc. for their support as well.
