Rain Shortens E.T. Series Event
June 24 - Today we hosted the Pro MX Showdown, which guaranteed $600 to win for the bike and sled riders. We also ran the Vivian’s Vision Race for a Cure Jr. dragster race which pitted both classes of Jr. Dragster racers all racing against each other for the chance of winning. Unfortunately the rains came in the afternoon and we were not able to complete all the final rounds. Here are some of the results.
Vivian's Vision Race for a Cure
In the Vivian’s Vision race it was Jacob Snyder scoring the coveted win in his ’12 Halfscale stopping Ron Klein Jr. who was going for his second time of winning this special race. Jacob put together practically an unbeatable package in the final as he clicked off a great .505 reaction time along with his nearly-perfect 8.003 at 82.10 mph run on is 8.00 dial in. Ron tried to reel him in with his .538 initiated, 7.988 at 82.25 mph run on his 7.95 dial and settled for the runner-up spot. Dunham Hall was the semifinalist.
Jr. Dragster "A"
In Jr. Dragster “A” it was Kimberly Klein taking the win over a red lighting Dunham Hall. Kim had a .548 light and ran a very nice 7.912 at 82.09 mph on her 7.90 dial. Dunham lit the red light with a .468 bulb and wasted his perfect dial in matching 7.950 and settled for the runner up spot. Morgan Bunal was the semifinalist.
Jr. Dragster "B"
Jr. Dragster “B” class racing saw Shane Bingel defeat Gracie Snyder in the money round. Gracie held the reaction time advantage .569 to .593, but Shane ran closer to his dial in with an 11.815 at 51.64 mph on his 11.73 dial. Gracie had to settle for the runner up spot with her 9.012 at 72.57 mph run on her 8.90 dial. Jazmyne Short and Jenna Lipke were the semifinalists.
