Summit E.T. Racing Series - June 8

Reader Defeats Wheeler For Street Money Showdown Win

Jordan Reader celebrates his Street Money Showdown Win

June 8 - Jordan Reader got the win light before he left the starting line as his Street Money final round opponent Fred Wheeler got a little eager and lit the red light in their final round match. Fred's .456 light negated his 10.437 at 66.69 mph run on his 10.38 dial handing the win to Jordan. Jordan took it easy and ran a 7.805 on his 7.65 dial-in to score the Showdown top prize.  Matt Consiglio and Howie Smith both drove to semifinal finishes.

Today's event was shortened down to 1/8th as a delayed shipment of VHT traction compound prevented a full track application, but the weather was great and the racers put on a great show. Here's the complete event recap for Sunday's event.

Vince Musolino - June 8 Super Pro Winner

Super Pro

Pro MX
Pro MX was also decided by a red light start with Dom Belu on his ’14 Yamaha fouling with a .495 bulb making Bob Salerno on his ’06 Ski-Doo the automatic winner. Kim Rogge continued her deep runs into eliminations with her semifinal finish as did Scott Smith will his semifinal run.

Street Trophy
The red lights just kept coming today as the Street Trophy final round was also decided by the nemesis red bulb.
